At least 25 killed in anti-ethnic bomb blasts across Iraq

Car and truck bombs were detonated mainly in ethnically diverse towns and villages in northern Kurdish-governed Iraq Monday, the second day of violence in the region.  The bloodiest attack was in a village near Mosul inhabited by the Shabak ethno-religious minority group, seven members of whom were killed by a truck bomb. Two car bombs also exploded in a Shia district of Tuz Khurmatu south of Kirkuk, killing five people.
More bombings targeted Shia pilgrims heading for Samarra.
