At least 36 killed in Manila resort attack. Police deny terrorism
According to Philippine police, a lone gunman killed himself after bursting into a Manila casino firing shots from an assault rifle and setting gaming tables on fire. At least 36 people were killed and 54 injured. National police chief Ronald dela Rosa said his motive may have been robbery. The attack took place at the Resorts World Manila entertainment complex opposite the city’s main international airport, causing thousands of people to flee in panic. At least 36 were hurt.
