At least 40 killed in soccer riot in Egypt

The riot erupted Sunday night when fans of the Egyptian Premier League club Zamalek were refused entry to the Air Defense Stadium east of Cairo where their team was playing against the rival ENPPI. The authorities had restricted entry to the stadium to fans following a mass riot three years ago in which 74 people were killed.
