At least 45 Iraqi officers killed by three exploding vehicles

Three bomb-laden vehicles, blown up beside a police base in Iraq's Anbar province, killed 45 Iraqi army officers, some of high rank. A source in the Anbar Operations Command said Islamic State suicide bombers had driven the vehicles at the facility in the Tharthar area, on a road that connects the cities of Samarra and Falluja.
