At least five policemen injured on 3rd day of Palestinian rioting
Israeli police clashed with Palestinian rioters on the Temple Mount and in the old city of Jerusalem on Tuesday, the third consecutive day of such rioting, with at least five policemen lightly wounded.
On the Temple Mount, the rioters stoned visitors and then threw stones, stone blocks and firecrackers at the police from inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where they had barricaded themselves overnight.
There were also rock-throwing incidents in the eastern part of the city and a Molotov cocktail attack in the old city, but no injuries were reported.
