At least three dead, 20 injured in terror attack near UK parliament

The UK parliament is in lockdown after a terror attack outside the House during question time and on Westminster Bridge, where a car plowed into pedestrians injuring a dozen people. Three have died. Three of the injured are police officers. The vehicle carried on driving towards Parliament and crashed through the railings into the yard. At the same time, an assailant, believed to be the dirver, entered Parliament, stabbed a policeman and was quickly shot by armed police. The Speaker suspended the session and told members to remain in place after Prime Minister Theresa May was rushed out into a waiting car by plainclothes police. Anti-terror police and firearms experts are sweeping the building after treating the attack as a terrorist incident. Scotland Yard has called on the public to report with any information and be vigilant as the incident is still ongoing.  A full-scale terrorist investigation is underway. Armed and unarmed police are on duty on the streets of London.
