Australian army reserves called up to battle calamitous fires

Prime Minister Scott Morrison said every possible capacity must be brought to bear as the wildfire disaster escalated to a new level. The flames have already claimed 23 lives, burned some 12.35 million acres of land and razed over 1,500 houses with no sign of abating.
