Australian bushfires feared merging to threaten Sydney

Since the hottest September on record, Australia’s fire fighters have been battling bushfires across New South Wales. Now they fear that three blazes may merge with another fire and possibly threaten the outskirts of Sydney, Australia’s biggest city. A state of emergency has been declared.
