Australian police arrest 5 suspects over alleged terror plot
Four men between the ages of 20 and 22, along with a 15-year-old boy, were arrested Thursday morning in Sydney, Australia on suspicion of planning to carry out a terrorist attack in the city. The arrests were carried out following a long investigation that used electronic intelligence collected by the Australian Federal Police. A combined force of policemen and the Australian antiterror unit raided several buildings in the city and arrested the suspects. The five were said to be planning a coordinated assault on several government buildings in the city, including police headquarters.
