Baghdad’s ultimatum to Turkey: remove forces within 48 hours
The office of Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi issued a statement on Sunday in which it demanded the pullout of Turkish forces, including infantry, armor and artillery, that it said had entered Iraqi territory without permission and violated the country's sovereignty. "In the absence of the withdrawal of these forces within 48 hours, Iraq has the right to use all available options," including an appeal to the Security Council, the statement said.
