Bahrain Foreign Minister leads kingdom’s first delegation to Israel

Bahraini FM Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani was given a red-carpet welcome when he arrived on Wednesday as his country’s first official visitor to Israel. His program includes meetings with PM Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. They will get together later for a trilateral conference to discuss promoting bilateral diplomatic, commercial and civil aviation ties. But first, the Bahraini FM called on his Israeli colleague Gabi Ashkenazi at his office in Jerusalem.
