Bangladesh: Thirteen hostages rescued. Six ISIS attackers dead
Bangladeshi security forces on Saturday stormed a restaurant where armed attackers took dozens of hostages the night before.
Gunfire and explosions were heard in the diplomatic district of the nation's capital of Dhaka, where the attack on the Holey Artisan Bakery occurred Friday night.
Thirteen hostages were rescued. There is no word on how many were killed.
Police near the scene confirmed Saturday morning the operation was over, and according to police Rapid Action Battalion personnel on the scene six attackers have been killed.
