Bangladeshi airliner makes emergency landing after hijack attempt

Biman Bangladesh airliner BG 147 traveling from Dhaka to Dubai made an emergency landing in Chittagong Sunday after an armed man tried to invade the cockpit and opened fire. All 142 passengers have come safely out of the aircraft, but one crew member is reported with a gunshot wound. “He fired a shot. When the pilot pursued him, he said he wanted to talk to the prime minister,” a witness said. The armed man was shot dead.
