Battalion commander responsible for Israel-Egyptian border suspended
Maj. Gen. Eyal Zamir, commander of the Caracal mixed-gender 33rd battalion responsible for security on the Israel-Egyptian border, has been suspended over an inappropriate consensual relationship with a female officer under his command.
