Beijing urges Pyongyang to stop nuclear, missile tests
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday urged North Korea to stop its testing of missiles and nuclear weapons, warning of the possibility of a "head-on collision" by the two Koreas as tensions rise. Wang said South Korea and the US should reciprocate for such a step by halting the joint military exercises that they hold each year. Such a "dual suspension" could facilitate the restarting of negotiations between the parties, the minister said, adding "Holding nuclear weapons won't bring security, using military force won't be a way out."
