Belarus President reports ex-Mossad chief Dagan recovering from liver transplant

President Lukashenko told reporters Tuesday night that Meir Dagan had undergone liver transplant surgery in a Minsk hospital five days ago and was moved to intensive care after complications developed. His condition is now serious but stable. The Israeli embassy said they knew nothing about the Dagan operation and were not involved.
