Belgian prosecution: 9th Paris attack suspect arrested
A ninth person suspected of involvement in the November 13 terrorist attack on Paris has been arrested, the Belgian prosecutor's office announced Thursday. It said the 30-year-old Muslim man had been continuously in contact with the person in charge of organizing the attack, and that he would be indicted on charges of engaging in terror and joining a terrorist organization. The arrest by the Belgium Police's counterterrorism unit was kept secret for a week so Belgian authorities could continue their investigations and make further arrests nationwide.
