Blue-White asks AG to probe leak of Gantz smartphone hacking

The Blue-White party has asked Attorney General Avihai Mendelblit to order an investigation to find out who leaked the information that its leader Benny Gantz’s smartphone had been hacked by Iran. The application asserted that the culprit must have been “a source in a certain office in Jerusalem with access to sensitive security data and an interest in harming Lt.Gen. (res.) Benny Gantz.”
In a radio interview Sunday morning, another Blue-White leader, former Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon declared he doesn’t’ believe that Iran hacked the Gantz mobile, or that two Shin Bet officials notified him of this.
