Body of Palestinian boy reported found in Jerusalem Forest
Police are investigating the death of a young Palestinian whose body with marks of violence was found early Wednesday in the Jerusalem Forest. They are also trying to find out whether the discovery ties in with earlier reports of a man forcing a victim into a car in the East Jerusalem district of Bet Haninah and driving off. Large police contingents are at the scene and have cordoned off the area. The police presence has also been reinforced by soldiers in the Palestinian neighborhood of Shuafat. Clashes are reported with Palestinian dwellers. The Jerusalem light train service which runs through those suburbs has been discontinued.
Overnight, police arrested some 50 protesters in Jerusalem chanting death to Arabs and calling for retribution after the three kidnapped and murdered Israeli teens were laid to rest in Modiin.
