Bolton: US may sanction European firms doing business with Iran

White House National Security adviser John Bolton said on Sunday said US sanctions on European companies that do business with Iran were “possible.” But Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he remained hopeful that Washington and its allies could strike a new nuclear deal with Tehran that ”really protects the world from Iranian bad behavior, not just their nuclear program, but their missiles and their malign behavior as well.”

    The Europeans would sell their own mothers for one Euro. Every opportunity they get to undermine the US they go for with great relish. It’s about time that we showed our displeasure with this extremely hostile behavior. Frankly, I am sick of them.

    Make them replace USA forward bases in Europe with their own equipment and soldiers
    Let them be responsible for supplying the boys for their own defense.

    The US unilateraly ended an multinational agreement under accusations proved to be false by the IAE . The US under Trump is no more a relyable partner for Europe. Putin seems a better option i guess. To say it in Trumps language: The US is a bad deal, the worst deal ever….very bad. We have to think Europe first!

      Iran lied about its nuclear weapons program. This is fact. Iran used the deal to boost their terrorist activities: Developing advanced weapons. Financing and arming terrorist groups like Hisbollah, Hamas & Co. Starting proxy wars in Yemen and Syria. Taking over the government in Libanon. Threatening the USA and Israel. All this are facts. If Europe decides to support the terrorist Iran, then it is definitely treason.

      Indeed, making buisiness with Iran is supporting terrorism = treason. Europe sell its soul to Satan and betrays the US. EU’s deal with Iran is a pact with Satan. Europe seems to have a very short memory. Iran’s anti-Western and anti-Semtic ideology is exactly the same as of the Nazis and everyone knows how this ended. If EU does not change, Europe is doomed.

    Europe is defenseless without USA. Real divorce from USA will cost EU much more than its pathetic income from business with Iran, since real independence requires massive investments into modernization and build up of european armies.
    In other words divorce from USA is bad deal and Europeans will give up, eventually, both their contracts with Iran and the nuclear deal, never signed by Iran and USA anyway.

    Bolton is trying to teach the Europeans to get back to reality. The Europeans always start out on the wrong track – with Nazism, Communism and now Islamism. They really loved Obama because he had the same kind of self-destructive thought processes. The Europeans are slow learners for sure. I like the idea expressed in this forum of withdrawing American bases and troops to force the EU to defend itself. First they need to do a big housecleaning to get rid of their elites (and in Britain that includes antisemite Jeremy Corbyn, the Commy).

    Especially Germany wants to deal with mudslime countries as it brings money to their industry. So Germany says that they support Israel and that the security of Israel is important for them, but if there is war they would not even send one soldier but wam words to help the IDF.

    Europe is going crazy. An alliance with Iran?!? This is madness. An alliance with such an evil force, can only result in a disaster. EU is supporting terrorists and meanwhile the European people get terrorized by them. This can not work. The contradictions of European politicians and the European population will escalate. In this way Europe will go up in flames.
