Boris Johnson to quit after mass exits from cabinet

UK PM Boris Johnson was finally persuaded  on Thursday to step down and “accept reality,” after his new Chancellor ordered him to go “and go now,” following the loss of eight cabinet ministers and the confidence of his Tory party. With the fall of the government, parliament may not even accept Johnson staying on as interim leader until a new election, accusing him of leading a regime of “chaos, lies, fraud and sleaze.”
