Brahimi: Women and children can leave Homs Monday
The UN mediator Lakhdar Brahimi after conversations with Syria’s warring party delegations in Geneva Sunday reported that the Syrian government had agreed to allow women and children to leave the besieged town of Homs Monday and let humanitarian aid reach the city. Barahimi said he hoped that this would lead to similar arrangements to ease the plight of the populations of other embattled Syrian cities.
