Bribery defendants must deposit their passports, including Olmert

The Tel Aviv District Court ordered former PM Ehud Olmert and fellow-defendants in bribes case to deposit their passports within 24 hours following their conviction. They are prevented from leaving the country. The hearing on sentencing is scheduled for April 28, giving them time to appeal their convictions before the high court.
