Britain and Israel hold joint naval exercise
The British warship HMS Bulwark docked at the Israeli port of Haifa for a joint exercise with the Israeli Navy that took place Tuesday. The Bulwark, designed for the swift landing of armored vehicles and fully-equipped troops, will stay in Haifa dock for some days. Its arrival comes shortly after Russia's deployment of the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov to the eastern Mediterranean off the coast of Syria. The ship's commander, Capt. James Parkin, said the area is a "pretty dangerous place," and that his troops are at a high level of preparedness.
