Britain would support US military action against Syrian chemical arms

UK defense secretary Michael Fallon told an interviewer on Tuesday that the May government would fully support any US military action against the Assad regime’s use of chemical weapons, as it has done in the past. The Syrian regime’s use of chemical weapons against its citizens violates international law, agreements and norms, he stressed. Asked if Britain would take part in a US air operation, he said this had not been requested.
