British student dies in Palestinan stabbing attack in Jerusalem
Hanna Bladon, an exchange student from Birmingham University, UK, studying at the Hebrew University, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian while traveling on the Jerusalem light rail Friday. She succumbed to repeated knife wounds despite intensive efforts by paramedics to save her on the way to hospital. The assailant, a Palestinian from Ras al-Amud, east Jerusalem, was overpowered by an off-duty policeman and taken into custody. Bladon took courses in Bible Studies, archeology and religion and was due to complete her study program in September.
