British woman stabbed to death in Australia; attacker captured

A female British backpacker was stabbed to death in the hostel where she was staying in Queensland, Australia on Wednesday afternoon (local time). The attacker, a French citizen who shouted "Allahu Akbar" after stabbing the woman, was subdued and arrested by policemen who arrived on the scene. One person suffered moderate wounds and another sustained minor wounds in the attack.
