Brooklyn-bound F Subway train derails in Woodside, Queens

Emergency teams are on the scene after a Brooklyn-bound F train derailed a short while ago Friday at Woodside, Queens, in a tunnel at 65th street and Broadway. Four people with had minor injuries were initially reported. Dozens of firefighters and paramedics with stretchers converged on 60th Street and Broadway to gain access to the tunnel, as hundreds of people exited from the access point where stairs lead up to the street. It is not clear what caused the train to jump the tracks, but passengers reported it came to a jolting halt after briefly accelerating.
