Brussels alarm lifted around US embassy after suspicious car found

The US embassy in Brussels and Belgian Defense Ministry were briefly evacuated on Wednesday while police investigated two suspect vehicles. Police have closed several main routes out of the city and placed under lockdown a large section of central Brussels not far from the royal palace and European Union headquarters.
