Brussels to maintain maximum threat level for another week

Belgium's Prime Minister Charles Michel said Monday evening that his country's capital will stay on high alert for another seven days amid continuing terrorist threats.
"We have today decided to maintain the alert level at the maximum level of 4, the situation is the same with a serious and imminent threat for Brussels. The rest of the country remains at level 3," he said.
Michel added that schools would re-open and the subway system would start gradually resuming operations in the capital on Wednesday.
