Calamitous flooding kills at least 80 in Germany

Heavy floods have left at least 80 people dead and hundreds more unaccounted for in Germany, after torrential rainfall caused rivers in the region to burst their banks. Belgium also reports at least 11 dead. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has pledged full support for the victims.  The low pressure system that brought the devastation continues to move forward promising more floods.
