Calls for Pentagon chief, Chairman Joint Chiefs to step down over Afghan debacle

In an open letter, 90 former generals and admirals call for Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley to step down over the Kabul evacuation disaster. President Joe Biden is due to address the nation later on Tuesday. The last American soldier was evacuated from Afghanistan before dawn.
