Capitol Hill locked down after woman rams White House gate

A car tried to ram the White House barrier Thursday, after which the woman driver jumped out and started shooting, injuring several people. She had a baby in the car. Capitol Hill was then placed in security lockdown and police cars gave chase for the escaping vehicle. Heavily armed police and ambulances streamed to the scene.The lockdown was lifted after woman was first reported detained – then killed in the shootout.
