Car bomb strikes Turkish counterterror police convoy; at least 5 killed

A terrorist driving a car packed with explosives blew himself up as a convoy of counterterror police passed by in the Turkish city of Diarbakir late Thursday afternoon. Reports said at least five people were killed and 12 were wounded in the attack in the southeastern city.
