Central Stockholm in lockdown after police officer stabbed in the neck

The Swedish police officer was stabbed in the neck from behind Thursday in the Björns nursery opposite central Stockholm’s Medborgarplatsen Square.. His colleagues seized the 17-year old attacker and arrested him. The entire square, which is popular with tourists, and nursery were sealed off by officers. The policeman was there to secure an ongoing demonstration.
