Chief of Staff visits Golan, checks war preparations
Lt. Gen. Gady Eisenkott, who has just returned from Washington, toured the Golan Wednesday and inspected IDF readiness for a potential war flare-up. Together with the Bashan Division officers, he evaluated the state of warfare on the Syrian side of the border and confirmed the IDF’s counter-preparations. The Chief of Staff was accompanied by OC Northern Command Maj. Gen. Yoel Strick and the Bashan Division commander Brig. Gen. Amit Fisher.
