China to raise tariffs on US imports in escalating trade war

China announced on Monday plans to raise tariffs by 5pc to 25pc on imports from the US, including frozen vegetables and liquefied natural gas, striking back after US President Donald Trump last week raised tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese imports. The moves fuel fears that the escalating trade war between the world’s two economic giants could derail the global economy.

    China has been stealing in trade deals for years to bolster their goal of taking over the world. They mean harm to anyone that gets in their way. Finally someone has the guts to do something about it. Time not to give in to the Chinese Communists.

      You cannot steal in trade deals . That is how trade works . Everyone involved needs profit and business , and not some kind of idiocy . If they have trade , its usually balanced with the tipping to a product producing country . And not some bohemian behavior that does not know how to screw a bulb, which Americans are became today.

        Tariffs, IP theft, and market access are a two way street – China has long been the robber nation.

        Its claim of hegemony requires international responsibility.

        Its debt bondage actions in developing nations are also reminiscent of worst days of Imperialism.

    Chinese pulled a trick out of Trump’s book raising the stakes at the very last moment when everything was set and then walked away … Then Trump, like a child, tweeted threatening that they will pay dear from walking away …

    No matter how badly Trump mispronounces Xi Jinping’s name he will only laugh with a silent face. Just like he planed to do so setting a this strategy for his negotiators. He is right now, laughing that is along with about a billion Chinese citizens. The world does not understand how supportive the Chinese society is behind this government on this particular subject.

    Trump vs. Putin … well that wasn’t even a contest.
    Trump vs. Kim … all he managed in two rounds with Kim is to fall in love. Then after not receiving enough attention confiscated some coal from poor Kim … awww … LOL
    Trump vs. Xi Jinping … we shall see but as of today;

    DOW down over 600 points today.
    Apple rocked to the core and sliding as well.
    Hauwei just signed up Malaysia for 5G to almost sweep the control of Southeast Asia.

    Vietnam who Trump said will be one of the countries welcoming fleeing companies from China just finished an important visit in Cuba while denouncing the US Blockade on Cuba.

    Canada is already close to being on it’s knees and you can be sure that Meng will not be extradited. Poor Trudeau was so badly manipulated by Trump that he is on the verge of loosing his career while plunging Canadian farmers and few industries into deep trouble.

    Good day!
