China unveils its J-20 stealth fighter at an air show
The long-awaited Chinese J-20 stealth fighter had its first public showing Tuesday at the Zhuhai air show in Guangdong province. Designed for long-rang operations, its exterior design and features resemble the US F-22 Raptor. Beijing also exhibited its new Y-20 heavy freight plane and is expected to show the paces of the AG-600, the largest naval surveillance plane of its kind. These new products are showcased as China assumes a more assertive role in the region, especially in the South China and East China seas.
