Clinton starts catching up with Trump in early US election projections

First projections place Hillary Clinton in the lead in Vermont, Rhode Island, Delaware, Illinois and Massachusetts, with Donald Trump ahead in Indiana, South Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee. As counting continues, Clinton pulls ahead in Ohio, North Carolina and New Hampshire. Trump still leads in Georgia and West Virginia. Florida moves back and forth.  The very partial total voter tally: Trump – 50.0 percent; Clinton – 46.7 percent; others – 3.3 percent.
