Commandos fail in bid to drop through Nairobi mall roof

Special forces failed Monday midday to gain access through the roof to the beleaguered Westgate mall in Nairobi in a bid to overpower the barricaded terrorists.  Black smoke is pouring out of the top of the complex as a major explosion and sustained gunfire resounded from the building.
