Coronavirus cabinet to hear Gamzu plan and approve restriction strategy

The covid-19 director Prof. Ronni Gamzu is to present to the coronavirus cabinet on Wednesday the comprehensive plan he has drawn up for curtailing the pandemic. PM Binyamin Netanyahu said Israel’s figures are way too high and must be reduced without delay. On Wednesday morning, the number of infections had risen by 1,692 (1800 on Tuesday) to 76,642, and active cases to 29,250. This figure included 341 patients in serious condition. The death toll climbed by another 8 to a total of 561 sine the outbreak of the virus.
