Coronavirus claims 158 deaths, 13,105 confirmed cases

The coronavirus death toll reached 158 by Saturday morning with more than 13,000 confirmed cases of which 168 were serious and 118 placed on respirators. Recoveries rose to 3,207. The relative slowdown of infection, especially the down-curve of serious cases, has prompted the government task force to approve the gradual reopening of some businesses, services and manufacturing starting Sunday.
