Coronavirus infection continues to fall in Israel

New covid-19 cases logged on Thursday amounted to 2,509, with just 3.1pc testing positive. The number of serious cases in hospital dropped to 613 with 212 on ventilators. Deaths now total 5,975 since the outbreak of the virus a year ago, So far, 5,120 million  Israelis have had their first vaccination shots and 4,070 million both.
