Coronavirus: Nearly 2,000 medical staff in quarantine
As of Friday morning, 949 Israeli doctors, 635 nurses and 140 paramedics have been quarantined over possible covid-19 infection, the health ministry announced. All schools and universities are closed until after the Passover holiday, except for preschools, special needs frameworks and youth-at-risk centers. The education ministry has directed teachers to continue their work and maintain contacts with their students by remote means. Nursery school teachers are on strike in some places, refusing to work for fear of infection.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Israel rose to 126 on Friday, two in serious condition.
Why wait for WHO? Seeing and doing as as the things direct us while going along like sheep to the abattoir is sign of STUPID, NONPROFESSIONAL, IRRESPONSIBLE.
There must be a pre-designed plan and the trigger in responsible professional hands. Wait for WHO? Why not for Hamas, they are better informed and closer? Or Hezbollah?
@Yasmine The article does not state that Israel is waiting for the WHO. You are trying to kick in open doors which merely shows your reasoning is divorced from reality.
Be more specific on which type of measures you feel are necessary right now. Otherwise you will sound like Alexa Occasional Cortex in the US.
Yasmine and Deborah. Lockdowns are the next necessary step.
