Counterterrorism bureau: concrete threat to Tunisia ‘Lag BaOmer’ events

Israel's counterterrorism bureau on Monday issued an additional warning regarding travel to the Tunisian island of Djerba for "Lag Ba'Omer" holiday celebrations. It said terrorist groups, especially global jihadist organizations, are continuing to operate in Tunisia and carry out attacks. As a result, the bureau said, there is a high-level threat to Jewish targets, especially the Lag Ba'Omer events scheduled to take place on Djerba on May 25-26.
