Israel's counterterrorism bureau on Tuesday issued a number of travel warnings ahead of the upcoming Passover holiday.
Turkey: The travel warning was raised to "Level 2" (concrete threat). Israelis are urged to avoid visiting all parts of Turkey, and those currently visiting the country are advised to leave as soon as possible.
Sub-Saharan Africa: Israelis should avoid Western hotels, especially those in Kenya and the rest of the Horn of Africa, as well as in Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad and Niger.
Tunisia: Israelis are urged to defer travel to Tunisia, especially for "Lag BaOmer" holiday events on the island of Djerba.
Sinai Peninsula: A serious travel warning is in effect for the entire area. All visits should be avoided, and any Israelis currently visiting the area should leave immediately.
