Covid-19 infection breaks another record – 3,904 in one day

The Health Ministry tallied 3,904 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, another jump from the 3,506 on Tuesday, with 474 in serious condition. The coronavirus cabinet meets later Thursday for a decision on restrictions during the High Holidays which begin on Sept. 18. The ministers are urged strongly by the ministry’s experts to impose a lockdown for three weeks to a month to break the disastrous upward spiral of the virus.

Wednesday night, police broke up a wedding with more than 100 attendees at Ramot, a Jerusalem neighborhood under curfew.
