Covid vaccine inoculations begin in Israel on Dec. 27

PM Binyamin Netanyahu said, after taking delivery of the first Pfizer covid vaccine consignment on Wednesday, that the sick funds are getting set to handle 60,000 shots a day, He announced the launch of the “Everything Is Green” project to issue recipients of the vaccine certificates for gaining free entry to public places and malls. “We can already see an end to the pandemic,” he said. On Thursday, the  American FDA is expected to approve the Pfizer vaccine for emergency use.

Canada has followed the UK, which was the first country to approve the Pfizer vaccine and which has started a mass vaccination program.
