Cruz, in gambit to save campaign, puts Fiorina on the ticket
In what appears to be a desperate and final effort to save his presidential election campaign, US Republican Sen. Ted Cruz on Wednesday named Carly Fiorina, ex-CEO of Hewlett-Packard and a former presidential candidate who dropped out of the race in February, as his vice presidential running mate. In a speech in Indianapolis, he praised Fiorina as a person who led one of the world's biggest companies and "shattered glass ceilings."
