Death toll from attack on American university in Kabul reaches 12
Seven students and five policemen were killed in Wednesday's terrorist attack on the American University of Afghanistan in Kabul. About ten people were wounded. The assault was carried out by two terrorists who detonated explosive devices and opened fire with automatic weapons. More than 750 students and staff were on the campus at the time. Afghan security forces were only able to kill the attackers and regain control of the situation about ten hours after the assault started.
